All of our beds are made with antique, 19th-century posts and refitted with new rails, footboards, and headboards to be compatible with a modern mattress size. All beds have heavy antique-style rails with bed bolt construction.
While we specialize in historic design, our beds can be customized to meet your tastes. Many of our beds could be placed into one of three categories...
1. Simple Painted Finish
2. Stained Hard Wood Aged Crackle Finish
3. Folk Art Grained or Decorated Finish
Pricing is based on posts, detail, and finish options. A queen bed with 4 antique posts, a wide headboard, and a simple painted finish might start at $2500.
Detail Gallery
We start with antique bed posts and then add custom designed details like headboard, footboard, and blanket roll.
Most of our beds are made in a custom aged/distressed painted finish and be done in multi-layered colors, grain painted, folk decorated, or in a Soap Hollow style with bronze stenciling.
We also have beds that can be restored in the original mahogany, cherry or curly maple woods.
Antique Posts
We have over 250 beds in stock. You can choose the bed posts from our inventory or we can take a family heirloom bed that you have and make it into a beautiful, functional bed to be used by your family for future generations.
How It Works
Curious about the process for ordering your own Antique Newbed?
Here's how it works:

Find a style and look of bed from our Bed Gallery or gather photos of a bed you like.

Email us with your bed design and we'll find antique posts that would be a good match for your project.

Once we have our posts and know what bed size you want, we can finalize the design and finish, including any special details like blanket rolls and painted decorations. I can also provide drawings and finish samples.

Order your bed and receive an estimated time of completion. Beds can be shipped, delivered, or picked up. Most of our customers prefer to arrange a pick up and visit local antique shops in Lebanon and Waynesville along with our large booth at the Heart of Ohio Antique Center in Springfield while they're in the area.

A bed bolt wrench comes with each bed and the parts are all numbered for easy assembly.
